Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Corned beef is in the crock pot, we started the day with green toilette water (compliments of Hannah; supposed "leprechan pee"), coins in the kids shoes and green milk with doughnuts for breakfast.

No poems from Hannah this year, but I will share a couple of fun St. Paddy's day facts and one of my favorite Irish blessings:

Did you know… 9 of the people who signed our Declaration of Independence were of Irish origin, and 19 Presidents of the US proudly claim Irish heritage, including our first President, George Washington. Also, the very first St. Patrick's Day parade was not in Ireland. It was in Boston in 1737. Happy St. Patrick’s Day!

Did you know that March 17th is the day St. Patrick was executed? If anyone can tell me why he was executed, I owe you a green beer.

May God give you...
For every storm, a rainbow,
For every tear; a smile,
For every care, a promise,
And a blessing in each trial.
For every problem life sends,
A faithful friend to share,
For every sigh, a sweet song,
And an answer for each prayer.

God bless & Happy St. Patrick's day!!

Maegan's dance recital will be held Monday June 6, 2011 at 6:30pm at the Stadium Theatre in Woonsocket RI. For more information and to inquire regarding ticket purchase, e-mail Cheryl at showcasedance@earthlink.net.
Truly the only part of dance Maegan enjoys is performing. She absolutely loves an audience. So, if you are able to attend the performance, she will be thrilled.
Also, she receives her three year award this year and is very proud of this!
Best part: they are inviting the dads on to dance; so you may get to see Paul "get down" up on stage!

P/S in hand

Paul Flaherty writes:

We have a signed P/S in hand for the house. The closing is June 28th. That will give us plenty of time to find a house in Wrentham (hopefully). There is some new construction going up off Park St and there are more and more existing houses for sale in town...time will tell
